This year’s Kickin Country Campout will be one of the biggest and best events we have had the Honor to put together. The Riverside stage will be graced by some the best Country music artist ever produced in Australia. This event promises to be a real rare layback atmosphere with the backdrop of the Picturesque mighty Burrum River. The Event is for campers Only. Friday The 4th of July
Brad Butcher is an Australian Country singer-songwriter. As of 2022, Butcher has released four studio albums and has won two golden guitars at the Australian Country Music awards. Brad Mackay born and breed now lives in Rockhampton and last year took the leap to be apart of the Voice. We are so pleased to have proform for us on Friday

Keeley Ellen our very own Bundy Country music super star. Keely is not your average teenager, this 18-year old singer-songwriter has been making waves in the music scene since she was just 8 years old, when she first discovered her passion for singing. Her recent appearance on Idol showcased her talent and ability to touch your sole through her talented proformances.
Caitlyn Shadbolt
Caitlyn Shadbolt,the girl from Gympiehas been lauded by many as ‘one to watch’.A finalist in the sixth season of The ‘X Factor’ Australia (2014), Caitlyn secured a recording dealwith ABC MUSIC and released her debut album,Songs On My Sleeve(May 2017). Upon release,the album hit#1on theARIA Country Albumchart. The first single,‘My Break Up Anthem’,held the#1 National Country Airplay Chart for over 8 consecutive weeksand became the2ndmost played song on Country Radio(held out of the top spot by Sam Hunt’s monster hit ‘BodyLike A Backroad’). Caitlyn was recognised for her achievements by winning theCMC Award forBest New Artist, along with a nomination for Female Artist of the Year.2020 saw Caitlyn release her sophomore album ‘Stages’ with hit singles including ‘Edge of theEarth’ & ‘Bones’. The album was co-produced by Stuart Stuart and Caitlyn herself, with allvocals and acoustic guitar being recorded in her make-shift home studio during lock down.This year, Caitlyn embarkson an even bigger creative project–recording and producing herthird record with partner Matt Smith in theirnewly built studio.
Andrew Swift is our headline Andrew and his band all the way from Melbourne
He’s released 3 ARIA #1 albums and garnered 3 CMAA Golden Guitar Awards – most recently Male Artist of the Year 2023. Accolades have come thick and fast for loveable troubadour, Andrew Swift, since his foray into Country music some years ago.
A year after his appearance as a top ten finalist in the renowned Toyota Star Maker competition, his ARIA #1 debut album, ‘Call Out For The Cavalry’, cemented him as one of Australia’s most discerning storytellers. Its tales of Runaway Trains and Reckless Desires earned him a whopping 4 Golden Guitar nominations in 2019 – not bad for an upstart – from which he took home gongs for Alt Country Album of the Year and New Talent of the Year.
The Campground
Buxton Bush camp is located on the banks of the Burrum and Gregory Rivers. We have hosted many events and with the mighty Burrum River as a back drop the atmosphere is very relaxed and layback. We are located about 26km south of the Historical township of Childers and 71 km north of Maryborough. We are 20km off the highway at Isis River BP service station

The Food
Our Fully Licensed Bistro will be operating from Friday lunch Time until Saturday night dinner. We will be cooking up a storm from the Low and slow smokers. Our dedicated pit master’s will be up before dawn preparing 10 hr low and slow Brisket juicy Beef Ribs. While the gals in the food van prepare all sorts of great meals to keep your belly full and warm the day long

The Bush Bar
The Bush Bar is fully licensed and be operating from 10 am both days. We have a large selection of beers, spirits and your favorite shots and a couple of Cocktails. All very reasonably priced
The best part is the extra Cold Beer on tap
